TYPES OF YACHT CHARTERS IN CROATIA

Croatia offers a range of yacht charter formats to suit different levels of sailing experience and onboard service expectations, from hands-on bareboat charters to fully crewed superyacht experiences along the Adriatic coast.

Bareboat Charters

Bareboat charters suit experienced sailors who want to sail Croatia independently. Clients are responsible for navigation, mooring and route planning throughout the charter. Croatian regulations require a valid sailing licence and VHF radio licence onboard, and single-handed sailing is prohibited, meaning at least two people must be on board at all times.

Skippered Yacht Charter

A skippered yacht charter combines independence with local expertise. Clients can still take the helm while a professional skipper manages routing, harbour approaches, weather conditions and mooring logistics. This option is ideal for experienced sailors seeking a lighter operational load along the Adriatic coast.

CREWED YACHT CHARTER

Fully crewed charter yachts represent the majority of our Croatia fleet. A Captain, chef and interior crew manage every aspect of the experience, from itinerary planning to onboard service. Weekly charter fees for luxury motor yachts typically begin at around EUR 25,000 and can exceed EUR 350,000 for larger superyachts. Motor yachts remain the most popular option in Croatia, while sailing yachts, catamarans and traditional gulets offer alternative cruising styles for families and longer island-hopping itineraries.
